School uniform vouchers available for customers

- No qualifying criteria for eligibility - the help is for all Incommunities customers - all they need to do is refer themselves to our Money Matters team
Thousands of our customers will be offered vouchers for school uniforms to alleviate pressures surrounding the cost of living.
With no qualifying criteria, families can access vouchers after a discussion with the Money Matters team about their current circumstances.
Information from the chat will be used to help identify people who require extra help from Incommunities. The level of support will vary depending on individual needs and circumstances.
Our Money Matters team is specially trained and experienced to provide practical help and support to customers with financial matters such as claiming the right benefits, help with lowering bills, information about accessing food banks, and more.
Their work has seen families save and access benefits worth £419,413 over the last 12 months.
Customers can refer themselves to the team online or by emailing moneymatters@incommunities.co.uk.
Families will be able to use their vouchers at the following supermarkets: Asda, Sainsburys, Matalan, Aldi and Morrisons.
For branded items, vouchers can be spent at Whitakers of Shipley, and Incommunities is looking to get other school shops across Bradford on board too.
Money Matters team manager, Emma Warden, said: “We know that this time of year can be a real challenge for our customers who have children. They have to feed and entertain the children over the holidays, and for those who work, they may also have the cost of childcare.
“Added to existing challenges with the rising cost of living, these families then also have to find the money for school uniform ready for the September term.
“We know that this is a challenging time of year, which can often push families to breaking point. That’s why we’re offering our families vouchers to help cover the cost of school uniform.”
School uniform vouchers provided by Incommunities will be available for the next 12 months.
