
As a proud official supporter of Bradford 2025, we’re getting involved in many ways to help our communities celebrate this historical year for the city. This is your chance to join in and help us make a difference.
We’ll be giving our customers a chance to get involved in projects and activities across the district. As well as chances to volunteer and learn new skills. If you’d like to keep up to date with Bradford 2025, contact us on BD25info@Incommunities.co.uk
Bradford 2025 are inviting street artists from home and abroad to create new works of art on walls across Bradford District. The art will bring colour and life to our communities, as well as celebrating our dynamic street art culture.
We will be identifying blanks spaces (walls, shutters) that we own which would benefit from vibrant street art.
We plan to develop the site hoarding at the former York House block in Thorpe Edge.
We’ll be engaging local communities and schools to design and develop art that brings our spaces to life.
We’ll work alongside existing and new community partners to identify opportunities to bring Bradford 2025 cultural activity and legacy projects to our customers and other community residents.
Working alongside Bradford 2025 Connectors and Creative Practitioners to identify and implement opportunities.
Enabling delivery of activities and projects that have a creative and cultural core element. This includes crafts, dance, song, theatre, art, poetry, play, nature and other endless possibilities.
Supporting with micro grants to deliver success of projects and support lasting, legacy impacts.
We’ll develop opportunities for our customers to access the Bradford 2025 key events calendar. Providing routes for customers who might not ordinarily be able to access them. Through referrals from our neighbourhoods teams and community partners, we’ll make sure that as many customers that would like to, have the chance to experience the Bradford 2025 events.
We’ll provide tickets to our own customers through competitions and giveaways
Removing any barriers to accessing key events, such as transport costs/access.
We’ll make sure all generations have access to the events, including customers living in our retirement living complexes.
We’ll create chances for customers to access the Bradford 2025 volunteering opportunities. Providing access to training and volunteering to upskill customers and current volunteers from community partners; helping to increase community resilience. We’ll do this through referrals from tenancy sustainment teams, community partners and other internal avenues. As well as direct referrals from customers.
Working alongside Bradford 2025 Volunteering Coordinators to identify customers who’d like to volunteer in Bradford 2025 activities.
Connecting with customers through internal and community partner referrals.
Connecting with community partners to identify volunteering opportunities for their people.
Removing any barriers to accessing volunteering or training, such as transport costs/access.
Bradford 2025 needs 3,500 volunteers. You’ll get full training, build skills, and gain an accredited City & Guilds Level 2 Qualification in Customer Service. Travel and food expenses are also covered.
