Community groups in Thornton, Allerton, and the Bradford City Ward are being encouraged to apply for their share of £60,000 through the next wave of ‘Funding In-Communities’.

Hundreds of Christmas presents are being handed out to people of all ages across the Bradford district over the next few days. The gifts, which have been donated by our staff and suppliers, will go to those most in need this Christmas.  

We want all our customers and people who live in our communities to have the opportunity to get involved and have your say on the things that matter to you.

In October, our Board and Customer Experience Committee members had their away day at Café West in Allerton. It wasn’t just a meeting; it was a chance for Board members to see and experience our community spaces and hear directly from colleagues and customers.

Residents of Strensall Green and surrounding areas now have a new playground to enjoy.

Following the removal of the old playground equipment in July, which was deemed unsafe, the new playground was recently completed.

As the much-anticipated demolition of the York House flats in Thorpe Edge reaches its final stages, local primary school children were given important safety lessons about the soon-to-be-empty site.

A monumental and historic ceramic mural of Bradford has been fully restored after being hidden behind a false wall for years and sitting in our warehouse for the past 10-years. The mural is now on display at Salts Mill, Saltaire.
