Consolidation with Incommunities Ltd through a Transfer of Engagements
We have written to all of our customers with the details below.
We plan to simplify our governance structure to make the business more efficient. As a part of this we are looking to change the Group’s structure so that we become one organisation, Incommunities Limited. This simpler structure will mean that we can make our business more transparent.
This is a step many other housing associations have taken for similar reasons and with positive results.
Our Board have looked at the case for this change and want to consult with residents before deciding if the consolidation should happen.
What does this mean for me?
If the consolidation happens there would be no changes to:
- your tenancy or lease agreement
- the service you receive
- how you book a repair
- Services provided to you
- service standards
- Your Housing and income officers and their contact numbers
If consolidation goes ahead it would mean that we would no longer use the name Incommunities Group or Sadeh Lok, we would be known as Incommunities Limited.
What happens next?
When the consultation period finishes we will share your responses with our Board and shareholders so they can decide if the consolidation should go ahead.
We will also write to you to let you know what has happened and any further actions you may need to take.
If consolidation is to happen it is likely this will be between November and December 2021.
As ever we would encourage anyone who is interested in working with us on our tenant and customer panels to get in touch with our customer involvement team; we welcome your feedback on our services and have a variety of ways you can get involved.
I have feedback or questions about this?
If you have any feedback on this process or questions about the content of this letter, please email us at consolidation@incommunities.co.uk or write to us at Consolidation team, incommunities, The Quays, Victoria Street, Shipley, BD17 7BN
The consultation will close on Monday 23rd August, so please raise any questions you may have in advance of that date.
