Housing group in festive donation to children’s hospice
Huddersfield-based Sadeh Lok housing association has given a local children’s hospice a £500 festive boost. This week Sadeh Lok’s Head of Service, Hussain Brook was delighted to hand over a ‘big cheque’ to Emma Kovaleski from the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, based at Russell House. The donation follows a vote among Sadeh Lok staff and their colleagues from Incommunities Group to find their favoured charity for this Christmas donation. The money will go towards the specialist care services provided by the hospice. Hussain Brook, Head of Sadeh Lok, said: “It’s an absolute pleasure to present this cheque to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. "The hospice delivers incredible care to many children and their families which touches the lives of the very communities we serve as a housing provider." Emma Kovaleski, Senior Corporate Fundraiser, said: “This is a wonderful donation and a big thank you to everyone at Sadeh Lok. "Our teams provide a range of high quality services that aim to enhance the quality of life of every child and family whenever and wherever they need it. "This contribution will be going towards our ongoing work across Kirklees." |
