Housing group launch employment hub to help job seekers
Are you unemployed and looking for work?
Incommunities has launched a new employment hub to help local job seekers (aged 18 and over) into work.
Employment advisors are on hand to give free advice:
- on searching local job sites
- writing effective CVs
- completing job applications
- making the right impression in interviews
- careers advice including apprenticeship opportunities
- and provide in-work support.
The housing group’s training team can also help job seekers gain the skills and qualifications needed to help them into work including running free maths and English courses.
From Tuesday, 3rd March, the team will trial a drop-in employment service at the Building Services Logistics building, off Hillam Road, Bradford (BD2 1QN) on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 1.00 and 3.00pm
The team are also on hand to offer free advice and support to local employers looking to recruit.

Nicki Woods, Incommunities’ Contract Manager for the new Employment Hub said: "We are really excited to be launching this new one-stop service aimed at helping more local job seekers access jobs and training to boost their employment opportunities.
"We want to help local people improve their skills and become ‘job ready’ to make that right move into work.
"As well helping unemployed residents we are keen to work with local employers find the right recruits that can boost their business."
The project is part funded by the European Structural and Investment Fund and is supported by Bradford Council and Leeds City Region partners.
