Incommunities has launched its 2018 recruitment drive for its award winning apprenticeship programme.

Vacancies include electrical work, gas plumbing, joinery and plastering.

The launch coincides with National Apprenticeship Week (5-9th March) which aims to celebrate the importance of this form of work-based training and attract more people to take the apprenticeship pathway.

The apprentice opportunities are open to anyone aged 16 and over who is looking to build a successful construction career with one of the north of England’s leading housing associations.

Incommunities offers a high quality structured training programme which combines college-based learning with on the job training working alongside Incommunities’ skilled professionals.

The housing group are keen to encourage applications from women and other under-represented groups.

"As a group, we are committed to investing in a diverse, highly skilled workforce and are keen to hear from school leavers, job seekers and people keen to take our apprenticeship route into work.

"In return we offer a rewarding training programme leading to a professional trade qualification.
