Thinking of a fresh start this New Year?
New Year fresh start? Well, if you’re thinking about a change in your career you may want to pop along to the careers fair discovery day at Incommunities head office in Shipley on Thursday 1st February.
The careers fair is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the different types of roles that exist within social housing. There will be a chance to meet the teams, ask about the type of work that they do, and discuss the jobs on offer.
Rebecca Waterhouse, People Support Assistant at Incommunities explains a bit more about the discovery day, “I came up with the idea for the event as many people don’t realise the wide range of careers within social housing. We’re a major employer in Bradford and have a huge variety of roles, everything from data analysts, gas engineers, cleaners, solicitors, and lots more. We offer apprenticeships, entry level roles, trade opportunities and professional services careers.
“We’re hoping that this event will provide an opportunity for people to ask questions and learn about the wide range of work that goes on within each department at Incommunities.
“I would encourage anyone who is thinking about changing jobs, careers, or simply just want to learn a bit more about what we do, to come along – it’s an informal event, and you can bring a friend along for support if you wish.”
