Reporting condensation, damp and mould

It’s very important that you report damp issues to us as soon as you spot them.

Once you’ve reported your damp, mould or condensation issue to us what happens next?

Number 1

Acknowledgment: we’ll let you know that we’ve received your report 1 working day of you contacting us. 

Number 2

Investigation: We’ll carry out a survey at your home within 14 days of you reporting the issue. We’ll make sure that you know when we’re coming to do the survey. The survey will help us to understand if any work is needed

Number 3

Beginning repair works: If work is needed at your home to sort out the issue, we’ll book the work within 7 days of survey taking place. You’ll be kept updated about the date that the work will be happening. 

Number 4

Completing repair works: We’ll complete the work within a reasonable timescale. We’ll keep you updated during the repair process. 

Number 5

Inspecting the work: We’ll come out to check that the work is complete and that your happy with everything. This will be done within 7 days of the work being completed. 

Number 6

Checking your happy: We’ll contact you within three and six months after the repair work has been completed and we might carry out an inspection if you still think that there is an issue with damp.
